Press Pack puts Bentley Brooklands on
the road to success
Overview
This promotional pack for showrooms and for distribution to the motoring press was designed as a marketing tool for the latest Bentley Brooklands car.
It was produced with a 225 line screen on a Heidelberg SM102 press in 4-colour process, plus a separate black plate to allow easy plate changes for the run’s eight language versions.
The main challenges involved foil blocking – ensuring the correct register of the foiled logos in three passes proved extremely difficult, while the time allowed to foil the cases and box was equally challenging; and hand-working – with several different styles of pack to produce across the eight 8 languages, production of boxes and collation of packs required extreme care.
The customer, who passed the job on press and supervised foiling and manufacture, was reported to be highly impressed with the final result.
