Service Graphics, St Ives Group’s large-format print division, has relocated to Chessington, moving in on January 31st 2011.

The new site will be the largest graphic site in Europe, offering state-of-the-art production processes and improved capabilities. The new S20 Inca is just one of the investments that the Company has made to provide clients with the latest technology.

Despite market trends, Service Graphics enjoyed a significant upturn in 2010, suggesting a promising outlook for 2011, in line with Service Graphics’ growth plans.

The Company’s expansion has enabled the creation of 15 new jobs, with new members of staff joining across a variety of roles including, studio, print and account management. As well as the new S20 Inca (which enables high speed, high quality print), Service Graphics has also installed a new Durst Rho 500R printer and Rho Tex printer, to provide an unparalleled portfolio of advanced print technology. The Rho Tex is the only one in the country and is situated at the Skelmersdale site.

Clients including Sainsbury’s, M&S and BAA have all benefited from Service Graphics’ continual investment in new production processes and have entrusted them with key projects, which have been delivered to an excellent level via an advanced software management system.

This year we have continued to build on our relationships with some of the UK’s biggest players, but we have also won new business from other companies in the retail sector,” said Scott King, Sales Director of Service Graphics.

We pride ourselves on being able to offer the very latest technologies to our clients and our new site at Chessington will enable us to advance in 2011 with the best capabilities in the UK.” said Nick Cole, Managing Director of Service Graphics. “As market leaders we are responsible for moving the industry forward and we have been delighted to see growing demand from our clients who are confident in our abilities, and trust us to bring them the very latest advances in print and market intelligence.”

The new production supersite in Chessington is 46,000 sq ft and will service London and the south of England. It will also offer support to the other Service Graphics sites in Glasgow, Skelmersdale, Nottingham, Kent and Salisbury, as well as the other St Ives divisions. In the future, the enhancement of the large format graphics services may also be offered across the entire St Ives client base.
