Infrastructure manager
An exciting new role has been created within the St Ives Connected Thinking team (CT team) for an infrastructure manager.

Reporting to the Group IT development director, the main purpose of this role is to manage the infrastructure and technology requirements of the CT team, the DNA/Connections environment and supporting the CT teams customers.

The successful candidate will be required to audit the existing CT solutions and review new solutions to optimise the user experience, including communicating with the external supplier and the management of any hardware in place; the successful interpretation and deployment of solutions for customers (internal and external to the business); supporting the group Bid Team in providing materials in relations to bid documentation; ensure adequate disaster recovery plans and backups are in place; act as single source of technology procurement for the CT team.

The role will include frequent client contact, as well as working with divisional IT teams.

The ideal candidate will have experience of developing and evolving systems, as well as a good understanding of business intelligence and intranet systems. Excellent communication skills and previous experience of client contact including presentations is also required. Knowledge or experience working within the print industry would be an advantage, but is not essential.
