City Building Stand Wins Award

We were delighted to hear that an 8m x 6m modular exhibition stand that we produced and installed for our client City Building (Glasgow) LLP won the ‘Best Space Only Stand’ award at the recent Labour Party Conference in Manchester. The award was presented by the Prime Minister Gordon Brown and his wife Sarah.

Working in conjunction with Glasgow advertising agency Levy McCallum, our design team created a full colour, three-dimensional render, allowing City Building to see their exhibition stand from all angles, complete with graphics and lighting. This gave them the opportunity to really visualize how the stand would look and work prior to construction. Incorporated into the design were all the elements the client required including plasma screens, reception desks, storage area and seating area complete with some unusual ‘lightbox tables’.

B&S Sales Consultant Alan Dynan worked closely with the City Building team during the initial concept for the stand and liaised with the client through all stages of production. Our dedicated installation team travelled to Manchester to set up the stand and dismantle it after the conference.

City Building (Glasgow) LLP is one of the UK’s largest construction companies, employing over 2,200 skilled employees and providing construction and maintenance solutions to commercial and public sector organisations across the UK.
