Famous Scots Exhibition
Date Added: Sun 31 May 2009
Working with Edinburgh based design practice Campbell & Co, we produced signage, banners and modular exhibition stands for a fascinating new exhibition which is part of the Homecoming Scotland 2009 celebrations. The ScotlandsPeople Centre in Edinburgh is hosting the Famous Scots Exhibition, a series of six free exhibitions where the family history of six well known Scots is explored.

B&S worked closely with Campbell & Co in their role as interpretive exhibition designers to produce all display graphics and signage for the exhibition. This included exterior signage which was printed directly onto Dibond and a bespoke 4 metre x 1 metre standalone tower unit comprising of printed Dibond panels attached to a steel framework. We also supplied modular exhibition stands interpretive graphic panels and a number of double sided hanging banners which were printed on fire retardant VCP.

Campbell & Co specialise in the design and delivery of visitor destinations including the award winning Stanley Mills, Garrison House Museum, Edinburgh Castle, the University of Edinburgh Visitor Centre & the Peak District National Park Centre.

The Famous Scots Exhibition is currently showing at the ScotlandsPeople Centre, 3 West Register Street, Edinburgh. Following on from Billy Connolly, and medical scientist Sir James Black, the exhibition is now featuring singer, songwriter and actress Shirley Manson.
The exhibition is well worth a visit. For further information please visit: www.scotlandpeoplehub.gov.uk
