Greenock Ocean Terminal

Working in conjunction with MKW Design Partnership, we transformed a dockside warehouse at Greenock Ocean Terminal into a fantastic welcome area for disembarking passengers.

We covered an area 36m x 30m using modular exhibition stands and approximately 150 graphic panels. Our sister company Scanachrome produced specially fabricated panels from Light Trevira material which were used to create the lowered ceiling. The area was divided into waiting rooms, security areas, retail space and luggage storage areas.

We also produced a full-size cut-out image of a piper which was printed direct to substrate onto MDF and cut out using our Digital Die Cutter. This has proven to be a real focal point and the perfect photo opportunity for the passengers.

B&S Sales Consultant Aileen McGuiggan and Installations Manager Andy McCullagh liaised directly with Neil Wilson of MKW Design Partnership and Andrew Hemphill of Greenock Ocean Terminal at every stage of the project, from initial concept through to final installation.

Greenock Ocean Terminal is becoming increasingly popular as a destination for cruise liners, with approximately 40,000 cruise passengers passing through the port each year. This is a significant contribution to the tourism industry both locally and nationally and we were delighted to be involved in this challenging project.
