We were delighted to donate a couple of banner stands for a celebrity charity trek in aid of the Guide Dogs for the Blind Association.

Scott Cunningham and his guide dog Travis walked the West Highland Way from North to South with several former Rangers players and members of the Royal Marine Commandos. Some of the former rangers stars who participated included Terry Hurlock, Arthur Newman, Andy Goram and Alex Rae. Scott and Travis ended their ambitious journey with a hero’s welcome at Ibrox Park on Saturday 11th April.
Our banner stands were used as a backdrop to the Q&A sessions that Scott and the players held at all the stops on the way.
Scott’s objective is twofold: he aims to raise much needed funds for the Guide Dogs for the Blind Association (GBDA), and also hopefully inspire other blind people to embrace challenges, big or small and experience the same sense of motivation and rewards that he has gained from his expeditions.
Scott and Travis have raised over £60,000 for the GDBA to date and the money raised so far has been used to fully train and care for 9 Guide Dog puppies that will eventually be placed with new owners.
We would like to congratulate Scott, Travis and everyone involved with the trek on a magnificent achievement.
