We’re very proud to say that the site Amaze created for Childline has won the Technology with Conscience Award at the BIMA Awards 2017. But the real reward remains the results the digital transformation is achieving.
On average, every day, the new Childline site is helping 169 children and young people register for confidential support. 399 find out how to contact Childline. 639 children seek and find the support they need.
Amazed are thrilled to have scooped a BIMA Award, especially in a category “for projects that are great exemplars of the potential and reality of what technology can do”. As BIMA says, the Technology with Conscience Award recognises “the potential of digital to improve the lives of people across society,” with the judges, “looking for projects that are delivering significant social impact, harnessing the effective application of digital expertise for social good.”
The awards event was held at London’s The Yard, and the win is the second of the year for Amaze’s digital transformation of the Childline site, having previously won Website of the Year at the Prolific North Awards.
Emma Nicol, Client Services Director, Amaze said: “It’s wonderful to have an individual project win multiple accolades so we’re absolutely delighted with this BIMA award. It’s a recognition of the effort, skill and talent of the people involved, but this win is particularly rewarding because it recognises the effect Childline’s digital transformation is having on children and young people across the UK every day.”
