Overview

Contracted to Royal Mail since 2007, SIMS has implemented a supply chain management and print procurement process to deliver significant cost savings, internal / external communication improvements, financial benefits, operational and customer driven improvements across Post Office Ltd, Royal Mail and Parcelforce.

Challenge

The SIMS partnership approach, and its close working relationship with Royal Mail, has allowed SIMS to operate across a wide portfolio of the Royal Mail businesses, managing procurement, data, print, display materials and exhibition and event work.

  • Consolidated supply chain to 25 over first year
  • Online procurement, vendor and data management implemented
  • Delivery of display and marketing collateral across an estate of 11,000 branches
