Simplifydigital is the UK’s largest independent retailer of broadband, home phone and TV packages. The company asked Occam to apply its insight services to help suppliers determine how to competitively price products.
Occam created two indices: one of price competitiveness; the other of customer competitiveness vulnerability. Together they have given Simplifydigital and its suppliers the ability to predict average package prices based on features.
They have also given an in-depth understanding of customer price elasticity and geographical variations in package competitiveness, which Simplifydigital is successfully using to predict attrition.
